EDUCATION HISTORY

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Planetary Science

  • The sources, dynamics and evolutions of the neutral and plasma environment in the Solar system (e.g. Mercury and the Moon, the icy satellites in the Jovian and Saturnian magnetosphere);

  • The interactions of planetary magnetospheric plasma with the atmospheres of planets, comets, satellites (i.e. Enceladus and Titan) and rings;

  • The evolutions of planetary atmospheres as a result of exterior sources such as magnetospheric ion sputtering and charged dust impact.

Sep. 2002 – Oct. 2009

National Central University, Taiwan

Ph.D., Astronomy

Astrochemistry

  • The sources, dynamics and evolutions of the neutral exospheres of the small bodies in the Solar system (i.e. Europa, Enceladus and comets);

  • The origins and evolutions of organic molecules from ISM to solar system and cometary atmospheres.

Instrumentation

  • Neutral and ion mass spectrometry
